Cybernetix attended the Forum organized by the Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation on April 10 and 11 in Iwaki.
It was an opportunity to support the R&D efforts of the CEA and OTND for the Remote Controlled Laser Cutting project aimed at handling fuel debris.
The event was also the perfect opportunity to meet with the Representatives of the Iwaki Consortium of Robotics. As a result of the meeting, a new project is currently being investigated. Four companies of the Iwaki Consortium of Robotics would like to mount a Maestro tele-operated manipulator arm on their newly developed Ganbappe remotely operated vehicle platform.
